FIAPF honors a personality from the Asia Pacific region 

at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards every year.

Partner of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) since their inception in 2007, FIAPF honors each year during the APSA Ceremony a filmmaker from the region with the FIAPF Award for outstanding achievement in film. This Award celebrates exceptional careers in film which are strongly contributing to the development of our sector at national, regional and international levels and are inspiring future generations.

APSA celebrates the creativity and the diversity of the film production made in the Asia Pacific region, and plays a pivotal role as a platform of exchange for filmmakers from the region.

2023 : Jeremy Chua to receive FIAPF Award for Outstanding Contribution in Film in the Asia Pacific Region at the 16th edition of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards

By remitting the FIAPF Award to Singaporean producer Jeremy Chua, FIAPF wishes to honour his outstanding contribution as a producer backing a new generation of filmmakers from Asia and collaborating with financial partners and talents from the region to bring audacious stories to the screens thriving on the international circuit.
