Festival du Nouveau Cinéma
Since its inception in 1971, the Festival du nouveau cinéma has been a major platform for emerging voices, new forms of storytelling, and hybrid, boundary-pushing projects. Always in tune with the transformations of Montreal and the wider world, the festival has presented significant works and welcomed numerous filmmakers who have since become key figures in both local and international auteur cinema. It remains a dynamic showcase for feature films, short films, new media, and student works.
