Bengaluru International Film Festival is organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy for the Government of Karnataka. BIFFes hosts competitive sections for Asian, Indian and Kannada cinema. Along with the exchange of diverse cultural milieus, BIFFES also focused on enhancing the knowledge and understanding of the film form, medium and exploring the historical milestones and features / trends in contemporary filmmaking.
