FIAPF honors a personality from the Asia Pacific region at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards every year
Partner of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) since their inception in 2007, FIAPF honors each year during the APSA Ceremony a filmmaker from the region with the FIAPF Award for outstanding achievement in film. This Award celebrates exceptional careers in film which are strongly contributing to the development of our sector at national, regional and international levels and are inspiring future generations.
APSA celebrates the creativity and the diversity of the film production made in the Asia Pacific region, and plays a pivotal role as a platform of exchange for filmmakers from the region.
Australian producer Greer Simpkin remitted with the 2025 FIAPF Award for Outstanding Contribution in Film in the Asia Pacific Region at the 18th edition of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards
